Hot and Sweet Coleslaw
1/2 cup |
White vinegar

1/2 cup |
Sugar |
1/4 cup |
Water |
|
Walkerswood Jonkanoo Hot Sauce to taste |
5-6 cups |
Cabbage (shredded or finely chopped) |
1 large |
Carrot |
|
Sliced Green pepper ; Onion (optional) |
Method:
- In a small pot combine 1/2 cup each of white vinegar and sugar and 1/4 cup of water. Heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
- As dressing is cooling add Jonkanoo Hot Sauce to taste.
- Shred or finely slice 5-6 cups of cabbage and 1 large carrot. (Optional: Add fine sliced green pepper and onions).
- Pour dressing and combine well.
- Can sit in the fridge for 3-4 days (but is best if eaten within 2 days)
